Medical Volunteers Needed for 2010 Mountain Bike Nationals in Canmore Alberta
Thursday July 15th, Saturday July 17th and Sunday July 18th
Medical volunteers needed to cover the events for trauma situations. Anyone interested must have at least their first responder and be comfortable with on site management of acute injuries. Like any event we hope to be injury free but must plan to be prepared.
4 people needed: 2 on course and 2 at a central first aide location.
Different people may volunteer for different days depending on their availability.
This is not a paid position but would be good for anyone looking to accumulate more hours towards their Sports Physio levels.

Our multidisciplinary sport practice requires a qualified sport physiotherapist with IMS certification for a flexible full time position. Our practice is located in South Central Calgary and is comprised of the following practitioners:
Chiropractic sport specialist (one of only 4 in Alberta)
Chiropractic sport sciences resident
Naturopath
2 registered massage therapists (3000 hour grads)
1 sport massage therapist / registered kinesiologist / certified exercise physiologist
1 sport psychologist
Three of our primary practitioners were recently involved with both the Olympics and Paralympic Polyclinics. We offer a competitive percentage based remuneration, heated underground parking and a dedicated physiotherapy / rehab room with hydraulic treatment tables. Our practice is bright, newly renovated, friendly and located in a busy professional building with 8 receptive GP's and numerous other local physician referral sources.

Full-Time Physiotherapist
A great opportunity to work with a dynamic team of health professionals in a growing multidisciplinary clinic situated in the beautiful mountain town of Revelstoke, BC.
Prefer applicants with an interest in advanced manual therapy and exercise prescription as well as needling (Gunn IMS or Acupuncture).
Flexibility in scheduling is available. A 4-day work week is optional.
