pt Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Registered Physiotherapist to join our team in Sherwood Park, Alberta as soon as possible. The successful candidates will need to be flexible, very charismatic and able to maintain a busy case load.
If you have mastered the ability to work effectively within a professional, multidisciplinary healthcare team, and have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to service excellence & clinical competence, we invite you to submit your application for consideration. Our current staff members are highly skilled and experienced, with special interest in spinal manipulation, acupuncture, intramuscular stimulation and active release. We offer a very attractive compensation package. Independent Contractor (utilizing a valid CRA corporation or limited company) or standard employee reimbursements are available.
The position is full-time and set to begin as soon as possible. Hours are flexible but will include a mix of mornings and evenings. The successful candidate will be a "go getter" with great clinical, organization, communication, and time-management skills. A benefits package as well as an education allowance is also available. Starting pay is negotiable and will be based on the successful candidate’s level of skill and experience.

Therapist Opportunities at the 2012 Alberta Winter Games
We are looking for therapists interested in the field of sport medicine. These volunteer positions will provide physical therapy services (according to their scope of practice under Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association) at the 2012 Alberta Winter Games' polyclinic. This is a great opportunity to network and further one's hands on experience in the multidisciplinary athletic setting. A minimum of 8 hours commitment during the games period of February 10-12 is required.
Volunteers will be provided with meals and the equipment required for therapy services. Volunteers will also be recognized with a jacket commemorating the 2012 Alberta Winter Games.
